How many square feet can one gallon cover?

It depends on spray level. A light spray (under 20 microns) covers roughly 15,000-20,000 sq ft; a moderate spray (20-40 microns) covers 10,000-15,000 sq ft; and a heavy spray (over 40 microns) covers approximately 7,000 sq ft.

What PPE should I wear when applying the product?

There is no PPE requirement for handling BioBlast Disinfectant® & Sanitizer. That said, CDC and OSHA guidelines recommend proper protection, including gloves, masks, and eye protection, during general cleaning processes.

How safe are your products?

Our products use ECA technology that mimics the body's natural immune response. The active ingredient is hypochlorous acid, the same compound your immune system naturally produces to fight pathogens.

Are your products bleach?

No. Bleach is sodium hypochlorite (alkaline, high pH). Our products contain hypochlorous acid, which is pH neutral. This delivers superior germicidal activity without the health risks associated with bleach.

Are your products safe to use around my pets?

Yes, BioBlast products are people, pet, and planet-friendly. You can spray around pets, but avoid direct eye contact, as it may cause mild irritation.

Will BioBlast Disinfectant® discolor or bleach my clothing?

Our products should not bleach or discolor clothing. As with any product, we recommend testing on an inconspicuous area of fabric first.

Is your product effective against COVID-19?

Yes. Our products are approved for use against the virus that causes COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2).

Can it be used directly on food contact surfaces as a no-rinse sanitizer?

Yes. BioBlast Disinfectant® & Sanitizer is approved for use as a no-rinse sanitizer on food contact surfaces.

Do your products eliminate odors?

Yes. Our products destroy odor-causing bacteria rather than masking smells, eliminating odors from cigarette smoke, pet urine, mold and mildew, and food.

Do BioBlasting products remove biofilm?

Yes. Our Heavy Duty Cleaner removes biofilm and acts as a degreaser. The disinfectant also removes biofilm from surfaces and dental waterlines.

Do you dilute BioBlast Disinfectant®?

BioBlast Disinfectant® is a ready-to-use product, no dilution is needed for hard, non-porous surfaces. Dilution may be beneficial for food contact sanitizing or produce washing.

Are your products EPA-registered?

Yes. BioBlast Disinfectant® and BioBlast Disinfectant® & Sanitizer are EPA registered to eliminate a broad range of viruses, bacteria, and fungi.
