What is NaOH?

Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) solutions dissolve proteins and emulsify oils and fats, thus making it an excellent general purpose cleaner, stain remover and degreaser. Electrochemically generated NaOH solutions have a strong antimicrobial effect against gram-negative bacteria.

Why is NaOH better than Traditional Chemical Cleaners?
  • Cost effective and can be used in multiple applications in a wide variety of industries
  • Superior germicidal, biocidal, fungicidal and sporicidal properties compared to its traditional chemical counterparts
  • Non-streaking surfactant with anti-microbial properties
  • Non-toxic, non-fuming, non-synthetic, and safe for humans, animals, and the environment
  • An excellent absorbency (wetting effect) attaching itself to oil, grease and dirt
  • Leaves no residue
